The We Will Live Forever rings have caught the attention of many fans, it’s normal, because they look fantastic! 😉💓
Some fans, knowing that I am a jeweller, sensed that I had something to do with those rings and asked me about them, so today I will tell you how the story went.
It all started at the end of February, just before the trip to Tenerife, when Alex contacted me and asked me if it would be possible to get two silver rings with the X-Perience symbols to appear in the new video.
After talking about the aesthetics of the new video, I already had an idea of what to look for and contacted an old friend, an unrivalled jeweller I had worked with for many years, a man who distinguished by making unique, handmade pieces in silver.
He showed me the work his son Samuel was doing with his own new brand @ozico925 and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had found the future X-Perience rings 😍 With a raw and natural design line, emanating an ancient and powerful energy, you could see the result of a philosophy of working on a small scale, recovering the ancient Sumerian technique of lost wax casting and working by hand every detail, to transform the metal into something unique that reflects the spirit of each piece of jewellery.
I immediately sent Samuel the designs for the ❎ and the 6️⃣, there was no time to waste, as such a commission, with a new design, requires more time than we had, barely a week before I had to fly to the island, so it was not clear if the rings would be ready in time 😱
But Samuel made a prodigious effort and put all his heart and soul into the two X-Perience rings, getting them there on time! 💪❤️ The rings looked spectacular, and only the last opinion was pending… the one of the band.
A couple of days later and after a long trip to Tenerife, it was finally time to show the rings to the band, when I saw the wonder on their faces I knew we had got it right and Alex said excitedly “This is exactly what I had imagined” 🥰
The next morning Alex and Matthias were wearing those rings full of character 😎👍 and shot a great video with them.
