The new Fable from Angelzoom

It’s wonderful to see how strongly Angelzoom has returned. Since last year we celebrated the 20th anniversary of the first album with that wonderful vinyl edition, Claudia and Bernd’s project hasn’t stopped creating new songs, and after Stargazing Heart, the second single from 2025, Fable, will soon arrive, an ethereal song as only Angelzoom could bring us.
Fable - original version
Finally we can listen to the original version of Fable! Released last Friday 30th May, Fable is a song that reminds us of the beginnings of Angelzoom in songs like fairyland or back in the moment, mixing that dark atmosphere and heavy sound, with the sweetness and calmness that gives the voice of our angel.

Fable (ambient) - Intrumental
Accompanying the release of the original version, an instrumental mix of the ambient version has also been released. Well… accompanied at the time, but not at the place since, at least for the moment, Fable ambient instrumental is only available on Bandcamp, a way of attracting Angelzoom’s audience to this platform with a business model different from pure streaming and which is fairer to the artist in the distribution of income.

Soon, although with a date not yet defined, we will be able to listen to the ‘original’ version of Fable, but as a foretaste, the “Ambient version” has arrived first, a little drumless jewel with which Angelzoom shows us her most intimate side in which the pianos, the atmospheric amplitude and, of course, the leading of Claudia’s voice are outstanding.
Although the trend nowadays is no longer to release albums, but to release individual songs, Angelzoom does not abandon the idea of making their music the soundtrack of a journey, and with Fable they take another step on that trip, an adventure with a space and futuristic setting so typical of the European science fiction comics of the 80s.
in this way, without abandoning its usual philosophy, Angelzoom accompanies us through new sound territories very much in keeping with this atmosphere, perhaps a little darker… but as always, feeling how it grabs you to embrace you tightly and not let you fall.
Ambient version, leaves us with the sweet sensation of wanting to know what the ‘original version’ will be like and what the next step in this new adventure will be.

In addition to the options we already know well, there is an interesting new feature. We are talking about Bandcamp. A company that is committed to a different business model, seeking a greater focus on supporting the artists.
And instead of following the subscription model to access a huge catalogue of millions of songs that you are probably not interested in, on bandcamp you don’t pay monthly subscriptions for an access service, but you acquire permanently, only the songs you want, for a single payment of 1€ or more if you want… so yes, here it’s the fan who chooses how much to pay to support the artist.

To put it in perspective, buying the song for €1 on Bandcamp would bring the same amount to the artist today as Spotify would bring in a year if you listened to the song once every day!
