X-Perience Live at Malchower Oldienacht

Just 1 hour and a half north of Berlin is the quiet and idyllic city of Malchow. and on the outskirts in a natural park surrounded by the freshness of the trees, There is the fairground in which the Malchow Cultural Association has already held 26 editions of the festival, Malchower OLDIENACHT.
This year, for the 27th edition, Malchow had X-Perience for his main performance.
Our friend Nathalie was there and she brought us closer to the live experience with some wonderful photos and told us how the event unfolded.
X-PERIENCE AT MALCHOWER OLDIENACHT - The Location
The 27th Malchower Oldienacht took place on the 06.06.2025 until the early morning of the 07th at the Freilichtbühne in Malchow.
The Freilichtbühne is a little open air stage faced by many rows of benches hidden between trees in a park. So everyone was able to choose between a cozy place to sit and watch the bands or to go into the front and dance.
A little side fact. The current organizer of the 27th Malchower Oldienacht (Mirko Henschler center below) ended his work afterwards. Therefore it is yet unclear if a next Oldienacht will take place! So thanks a lot to Mirko for inviting X-Perience. ❤️
X-PERIENCE AT MALCHOWER OLDIENACHT - The Other Bands
The opening of the Oldienacht was at 19 o’clock and by the time the little stage got filled. The program was mixed by bands and DJs who brought back the vibes of the 80s and 90s.
The Oldie Company. 27 years playing hits from the 70s and 80s on Malchower Oldienacht!
Many famous songs, like “Love is a shield” by Camouflage or “What is love” from Haddaway were played. As the time flew by more and more people decided to dance to their old favorite songs – remembering the good old times.
Lazy Talk’s party band, brings hits from the 80s and 90s.
But not only older people came to visit the Oldienacht, the Freilichtbühne was also visited by a lot of young people! Everyone was enjoying the party and waited for the big, star guest – our loved band – X-Perience. The darker it got, the more the awesome lightshow was possible to see that rounded up the entire atmosphere of party and dance in the nature!
X-PERIENCE AT MALCHOWER OLDIENACHT - The Concert
At around 23:30, so 45min before their planned performance, X-Perience arrived at the Freilichtbühne and prepared themselves mentally in the backstage area. Unfortunately their actual start got a bit delayed because the crowd was enjoying “Lady in Black” by Uriah Heep, covered by a band before.
At finally 00:38, X-Perience time was about to come and the crowd was very hyped! Most of the people came to the front of the stage and danced to the old hits of X-Perience, such as “A Neverending Dream” or “Magic Fields”.

But also the newer hits, like “Cruisin’ Wild” or “Say Thank you” were definitely enjoyed by everyone. Wished by the organizer of the Oldienacht, X-Perience even played “It’s A Sin” after a long time again!
After a good hour the performance sadly ended with a big encore! Afterwards the people and fans were able to get an autograph or have some small talk with the band.

Tearfully another X-Perience concert with some mosquito bites ended but luckily next week we are able to meet them at the Devil Stage Festival in Friedrichroda again!
